For the last 6 months, Aleeya has been waking up several times in the night. At first I thought it was just a phase but it never ended. Then one day when she was screaming I noticed she had HUGE tonsils. So I took her into the doctor to see what was wrong he referred us to a specialist that said those big tonsils need to go! They did have us watch her sleep and we discovered she stops breathing for several seconds and then wakes up to take a big gasp of air! Very scary to watch. So my youngest child is the first to have surgery. Because she is so young, they had us spend the night in the hospital. It was my worst experience in the hospital. We shared a room with a screaming child and we had nurses that forgot to bring Aleeya her pain medicine! However Aleeya did great. Hopefully we are on our way to better nights.
Here she is trying to show the camera her big tonsils before the surgery. (She doesn't realize that her tongue is blocking the view!"

Reading with Daddy before the surgery.

Sleeping at the hospital. Poor Baby!

Getting ready to go home with her presents from the hospital.

Oh, that's so sad. She's too tiny to be in that huge hospital bed. I hope she's doing great and that you're recovered. I bet that was harder on you than on her.
You're a good mom.
I lovo Aleeya's song! she is so cute!
I truly haven't forgotten your birthday - I have your gift but I keep forgetting to give it to you! That's what happens when we get old! Hope you guys are having a great time at Disneyland and with Jessica and Adam!
