We have been really busy this August. Now it is almost September and I haven't put anything on my blog so I am going to stagger my posts over this next week to get the blog caught up with the calendar. Man how time flies when you are having fun!

Evan's 20th High School Reunion!

The last weekend of July was Evan's high school reunion. It was fun for him to see all of his old friends and to reminisce. I on the other hand enjoyed talking to the other wives that did not attend Idaho's Caldwell High.

County Swim Meet!

The last week of July is the county swim meets for Treygan and Kyra. They both qualified for the Silver meet.
This is a picture of the plaques they won. You can't read the little squares but they say the event and place. Treygan won 2nd place in backstroke and 6th in butterfly! Kyra won 4rd in backstroke and 5th in freestyle! They really improved this year. We are very proud of them.

July 24th was Evan's 38th Birthday!

Evan went golfing with his brother and a few friends in the morning. Then we had a yummy meal of Mongolian Beef and Honey Shrimp made completely from scratch of course! We watched a few fireworks from the deck and played some Rock Band. Happy Birthday!

Conrad is Engaged!

Evan's brother, Conrad, wanted to surprise his girlfriend, Hailey, when he proposed. He thought she would know his plans if he took her to a nice restaurant or up in the mountains. So he told her that we needed a babysitter and they came to our house. Conrad had come over earlier in the day and the kids and I helped him decorate the deck with candles and flowers. Then Evan & I took the kids out to dinner when Hailey and Conrad arrived. They went out to the deck and this is what it looked like.



She said YES!


The date of the wedding is October 24th!
