After a long week of work, I came home to find that my mom and children had prepared a great dinner, a delicious cake, and a few gifts. They made sure I didn't have to do anything but eat and rest. They are so sweet. Thanks Mom for making my birthday special.
Evan always makes my birthday special by surprising me with my gift. I have always had to work very early in the morning of my birthday as it is the day before Valentine's day and Valentine's week is our busiest of the year. So Evan likes to make it special by first spending too much money and then he leaves the gift for me to find at 3:30 in the morning! It starts the day off great! This year he bought me the Kindle from Amazon. It is a device that holds all your books in a digital format. It will be great for plane trips!
